Founded by ambient artist S28, Ambient OBX is a platform dedicated to connecting local ambient musicians with each other, with fans, and with local OBX venues. The region’s natural, steady rhythm is a perfect backdrop for ambient performance and composition, and we endeavor to be the link between local talent and a growing community of listeners, creating immersive sets that honor the deliberate pace, the beauty, and the raw, shifting energy of the coast.
